Video Team:
There are three focuses of the video team. The first focus is to create a video that partners with the Chairman’s document and is a vital part of the submission. Usually this five to seven minute video is done in a creative way to support the information presented in the Hall of Fame document.
The second focus is that of competitive assessment and robot / game analysis. The video team takes critical video of the other robots we may be playing with or against. This record is useful tool in formulation strategies to play whatever game we are faced with.
The third focus is that of analysis of our robot and its performance. The video team will record all the activities of our robot during practices and all matches. This video will be reviewed immediately at the conclusion of the activity at a designated location. The information gathered will allow the team to analyze the performance as well as strategies used to play the game.
The students on this team should have an interest in using the video camera
and editing using computer software.
