Our team has been the proud winner of the Chairman’s award in 1997 and has been a finalist in 2000 and 2001. Winning this award is very important to the growth and notoriety or out team.
As a result of our induction into the FIRST Hall of Fame we will be competing against other Hall of Fame teams only.
This sub team is made up of students that are interested in documenting our teams efforts in the form of a written and video submission. This submission can take on many forms. Usually a theme is selected early in the fall and the team focuses it’s efforts toward this theme. Coordination with the other sub groups is essential for the success of the project. The resulting document is chronicle of our teams efforts.
Newspaper Team:
This team will create a publication that will be distributed
at the competitions. Creating a newspaper to share information with other
teams has proven to
be a very good way to share the good news of or team and FIRST. This team
coordinates it’s efforts with the Hall of Fame and Photo teams.
